Project Proposal Entry

Hello I am Samuel Duque and I will be working with my partner Nikolas Velez. We will be making a film the film genre we have chosen is Horror and the sub genre we chose was Psychological Horror. We chose this sub genre because it is both of our favorite genre. We both love watching horror movies and the mental and emotional aspects of psychological horror really influenced us to pick this genre.

Target Audience

All films have a target audience. A audience that appeals to that film the most, for psychological horror the target audience varies very vastly. It all relies on what the viewer likes, their interests, their life it all varies but and depends on the person anyone can love whatever type of film they want. A target audience is only the audience the film reaches to most commonly. The most common age for psychological horror to reach out to is people between 15-30 years old but its not just about the age it is also about what type of movies or series they like most commonly if a audience likes psychological horror they like horror all together or they like psychological thrillers. But that is not a limit to the audience of psychological horror it can vary between anyone every person is different in their interests.

Issues

An issue we are having with our film is the meaning or representation of the film opening. We will fix this issue later on but for now our only idea is to find a way to make it about ICE because it is a reoccurring topic in the US.

Software/Hardware

Me and my partner are planning to use Premiere Pro as we have had experience with it. We have knowledge on this app due to our usage of it in the beginning of the school year. We are planning to learn to ease up and relax when on camera so when we record we will not be anxious or nervous. Our strategies to do that is to practice recording our self our talking to a camera. The picture is from one of my experiences using premiere pro during this school year.
