Planning What Is Expected From My Film Opening

Today I will be talking about what is expected from my film opening my plans and ideas.

The Title

For the title me and my partner are still in the in the process of figuring it out but we know that we want the title to be simplistic keeping with the ideal of psychological horror. A good example of that is the movie "IT" the title is only one word and gives a mysterious vibe to make who is viewing the title intrigued. My partner thought of a possible title as "little lamb" we will brainstorm to try to see if there could be a better title.

Script Writing

It is too early on to know what the script will be but me and my partner are starting to work on it. We want to make the tone a dark and eerie for a psychological horror. We are thinking of starting the film with something happening to an important character to the main character we feel as if this could affect the mental health of the main character and start the descent of his stability.

Setting

For the setting we are planning on recording in a dark place we want to start the film with an eerie mood then later on at some point increase the brightness of the areas.

Props

Right now our ideas of props are simple and small things maybe fake weapons or something of the sort. In the props department we want follow along like the movie series of "Scream" we want to keep it simple with the props as in most psychological horror films.
